Public Education

Public Education and Community Outreach

At Union EMS, we are dedicated to empowering our community through education and awareness. Our public education initiatives aim to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to respond to emergencies and promote overall health and safety.

Our Educational Programs Include

  • CPR and First Aid Training: We offer comprehensive CPR and first aid courses to teach community members lifesaving techniques and emergency response skills.

  • Hands-Only CPR: Learn the basics of Hands-Only CPR, a simple yet effective method that can save lives in cardiac emergencies. This program focuses on chest compressions without mouth-to-mouth breaths.

  • Stop the Bleed: Our Stop the Bleed program teaches participants how to recognize life-threatening bleeding and provide immediate care using techniques such as applying pressure, packing wounds, and using tourniquets.

  • School Programs: We visit local schools to educate students about the importance of emergency medical services, basic first aid, and how to stay safe in different situations.

  • Public Demonstrations: We participate in community events to demonstrate emergency medical procedures and provide hands-on learning experiences.

  • And many more....
